While I take every precaution with your belongings, I cannot be held liable for any accidents, direct losses, or consequential damages. It is your responsibility to ensure your possessions are protected by suitable home or contents insurance.
Privacy & Confidentiality

- Your personal data is securely stored and used exclusively to deliver the services you have agreed to.
- Testimonials may be requested and will only be shared with your consent.

Please ensure your home is a safe environment for work. Kindly inform me in advance of any potential hazards, including pets, trip risks, health concerns, or unstable furniture.
- I do not move large or heavy furniture. Please arrange assistance in advance if this is required.
- I can help with light cleaning tasks, including wiping down shelves and surfaces.
- Please make sure your home is easily accessible.
- Whenever possible, it is best for pets and young children to be looked after by someone else, allowing us to concentrate fully.
I reserve the right to end a session early or cancel further sessions without issuing a refund in the following circumstances:
- Non- payment of fees
- Unsafe or unsanitary conditions
- Abusive or inappropriate behaviour
Emotional Wellbeing
Decluttering can be an emotional journey, and I approach every session with patience, understanding, and care. While I am not a therapist or mental health professional, I will always support you to work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
If you feel overwhelmed, we can pause, slow down, or take a break whenever needed. You are welcome to stop the session at any time, and I ask that the full scheduled fee still applies, as the time is reserved especially for you.
Booking & Deposits
- To secure your booking, a 50% deposit is required and must be paid at least 48 hours before the session.
- The remaining balance must be paid within 7 days after the session.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash, or cheque
Session Rates:
- Weekdays: £25 per hour
- Weekends: £30 per hour
Sessions usually last around four hours, giving us enough time to make meaningful progress without causing overwhelm. However, I understand that everyone’s needs and energy levels are different.
If four hours feels too long — or too short — we can discuss what works best for your comfort, capacity, and pace. The goal is to make progress in a way that feels sustainable and supportive for you.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 48 hours’ notice: Receive a full refund or have your deposit applied to a future booking.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% fee.
- Same-Day Cancellation: Full session fee applies.
If you’re feeling unwell or facing an emergency, please don’t hesitate to inform me. I am committed to being flexible and understanding in any situation.
If you decide to end a session early, that’s completely okay. The full session fee will still apply, as this time is set aside especially for you.
Travel & Parking
A travel fee of £0.45 per mile applies to journeys over 20 miles from my home address in the HR2 area (Herefordshire). Exact mileage and charges will be calculated based on your booking address and confirmed beforehand.
Any parking charges incurred during the session will be included in your final invoice.
Breaks & Refreshments
I do not expect refreshments, but they would be warmly appreciated. If a session extends over lunchtime, we can agree to take a brief break. I will bring my own lunch, and you will not be charged for this time.
Donations and Item Removal
I do not hold a waste carrier licence, so you are responsible for removing items from your home for disposal and recycling. I am happy to offer advice on the most suitable local services to assist you.
In certain cases, I may offer to take one carload of donations per session to a local charity shop, depending on logistical feasibility. You are responsible for selecting the items to donate, and I accept no liability once the donations have been delivered. If I am unable to provide this service, I will gladly recommend the most suitable local charity shops or online options.
Third Party products & Services
I may suggest storage solutions, recycling services, or other third-party options. These recommendations are offered in good faith, but I am not responsible for any loss, damage, or problems arising from the use of these third-party products or services.
Basic supplies, including bin bags and stationery, are covered by the session fee.
Associations
I am a full member of APDO and adhere to their Code of Ethics. For more information, please visit https://www.apdo.co.uk/who-we-are/code-of-ethics.html
