About Me

Hi I’m Lizzie.
I’m a mum of two young children and, after a 16-year career in nursing, I’m now a professional organiser.
I love helping people create homes that feel calmer, easier to manage and more supportive of everyday life – not picture-perfect homes, but homes that actually work for the people living in them.
Discovering later in life that I’m autistic and have ADHD (AuADHD) helped me better understand the way my brain works, why some everyday tasks can feel harder than others, and approach myself with more compassion and understanding.
It also changed the way I think about organisation – and the importance of creating a home that works with you, rather than against you.
My home is rarely spotless (two young children make sure of that!), and I don’t believe it needs to be. What makes the difference for our family is having simple, practical systems and a home for our belongings. When life gets busy and things get messy, it’s much easier to reset.
Seeing the difference this made for our family is a big part of what inspired me to become a professional organiser.
My nursing background, lived experience and professional training have all shaped the way I work today – from listening and being patient to treating everyone as an individual and finding practical solutions that work for them.
Organisation That Works With You
What works brilliantly for one person might be completely unrealistic for someone else. The important thing is finding what works for you, your brain, your energy and your life.
Living with AuADHD has given me a personal understanding of executive functioning challenges, including getting started, making decisions, managing time, remembering things and completing tasks.
But you don’t need to be neurodivergent to experience these difficulties. Stress, burnout, illness, hormonal changes, poor sleep, mental health challenges and big life changes can all make everyday tasks feel harder.
I’m not here to tell you how you should be doing things.
We’ll work it out together.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
Decluttering can bring up all sorts of emotions. You might feel embarrassed, overwhelmed, frustrated or simply have no idea where to start.
You don’t need to tidy up before I arrive, and you don’t need to apologise for your home.
I believe care tasks are morally neutral – the state of your home says nothing about your worth as a person.
There’s no judgement and no pressure. We’ll work at a pace that feels manageable, and I’ll support you through the decision-making process while you stay in control of what stays and what goes. Together, we’ll create simple systems that make everyday life a little easier.
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s a home that supports you instead of adding to your overwhelm.
Professional Training & Credentials
I’ve undertaken professional training to build on my lived experience and develop my knowledge as a professional organiser.
I am DBS checked, fully insured, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and a full member of the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (APDO).
My training includes:
- APDO – Starting a Professional Organising Business
- Sarah Bickers’ ADHD Course for Professional Organisers
- Stage 1 Hoarding Awareness – Hoarding Disorders UK
- Chronic Disorganisation Awareness – Hoarding Disorders UK
Whether life has simply got on top of you, you’re going through a period of change, or you’ve been struggling with your home for a long time, you don’t need to have it all figured out before asking for help.
We can start exactly where you are.
‘This isn’t just about clearing out cupboards. It’s about creating systems that work for you. Systems that make life easier, not harder. When your space is organised, you spend less time tidying, more time doing what you love and you feel more at peace within your own home.’
