What locations do you cover?
I provide services across Herefordshire, Abergavenny and the surrounding areas.
If you’re unsure whether your location is included, please feel free to get in touch. I generally work within an hour’s travel of Hereford and may be able to accommodate locations slightly further afield upon request.
Do I need to tidy up or prepare anything before the session?
No need to tidy up. Seeing your space as it is helps me understand how you currently use it and identify any challenges. This enables us to create a practical and supportive plan tailored to your needs.
Do I have to throw everything away?
Absolutely not. This process isn’t about discarding things just for the sake of it. It’s about preserving what truly supports your life today. I will never pressure you to let go of anything. My role is to help you make thoughtful, confident decisions.
Do you do cleaning?
I do not provide a full cleaning service, but I am happy to assist with light cleaning tasks like wiping down shelves and surfaces while returning items to their places.
Do I need to buy storage before?
No, whenever possible, we will utilise what you already have or repurpose existing items. If extra storage is necessary, I can assist you in selecting the best options after evaluating your space.
I feel embarrassed about my home?
Please don’t worry. This is a judgment-free service. My goal is to help you feel calm, confident, and in control again as we move forward together.
Will you take away unwanted or donation items?
I do not hold a waste carrier licence, so you are responsible for removing items from your home for disposal and recycling. However, I am happy to provide advice on local services that can assist you.
In certain cases, I may offer to take one carload of donations per session to a local charity shop, depending on logistical feasibility. You are responsible for selecting the items to donate, and I accept no liability once the donations have been delivered. If I am unable to provide this service, I will gladly recommend the most suitable local charity shops or online options.
How do I know this will work for me?
I offer a complimentary Discovery Call and an affordable Introductory Session, giving you the opportunity to experience the process, ask questions, and gain a clear understanding of how it works before committing further.
How long with the sessions be?
Sessions typically last about four hours, striking a balance between making meaningful progress and avoiding overwhelm. However, everyone’s needs and capacity vary – if four hours feels too long or too short, I’m happy to discuss what would work best for your energy levels and comfort.
What if I feel overwhelmed or emotional during the session?
Feeling this way is completely normal. We will move at your pace, and I will regularly check in to see how you are doing. Remember, you are not alone in this.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, after the Initial Consultation, a 50% deposit is required to secure your session and must be paid at least 48 hours in advance. This deposit will be credited toward your final invoice. The remaining balance, along with any additional charges, is due within 7 days after the session.
Do you charge for travel and parking fees?
A travel fee of £0.45 per mile applies to journeys over 20 miles from my home address in the HR2 area (Herefordshire). Exact mileage and charges will be calculated based on your booking address and confirmed in advance.
Any parking fees incurred during the session will be included in your final invoice.
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand that plans may change. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- More than 48 hours in advance – Receive a full refund or transfer your deposit to a future booking
- Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a 50% fee.
- Same day cancellation – Full session fee applies
If you’re feeling unwell or facing an emergency, please don’t hesitate to inform me. I am committed to being flexible and understanding in any situation.
If you decide to end a session early, I reserve the right to charge for the entire session.
